Beaujolais Nouveau Day at The York!
For any wine connoisseurs reading this, you’ve probably already got the date marked in your calendar and are already picturing the large glass of wine you’re going to enjoy when 21st November rolls around. For anyone unfamiliar with this French term, keep reading and find out why you won’t want to miss out.
Beaujolais Nouveau Day is an event which takes place every third Thursday of November and marks the release of a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. What started as a local event has become a national celebration and we’re excited to be popping open bottles of this season’s batch.
Our upcoming supper club event is a great opportunity to try the new wine and discuss what you think with friends but you don’t need to be a wine expert to come along and try it! Our chef has prepared a menu (which you can see below) full of incredible French dishes to enjoy alongside the wine.
The special menu will be available from 7pm on Thursday 21st November and is available to everyone alongside our regular menu. We’re expecting the evening to get quite busy so we advise that you book your table in advance so you don’t miss out.
